SCHIAPARELLI COUTURE 2024
Standing outside the Petit Palais before the Schiaparelli Couture Show, squeezed in between hundreds of other photographers, bodygards pushing people to make space for the cars of Influencers and fans shouting ‘Jlo’ into my ear had me question the purpose of fashion shows today. It has become more about the people sitting in the front rows instead of the clothes on the runway. With this street photography series I aim to put the focus back on the clothes instead of the people wearing them, by removing their faces.
